New ultraframe extension

Have recently had Oakleygreen to dismantle our large conservatory and replace it with an ultra frame extension. From start to finish the whole team were always on time, approachable and friendly yet also professional. I recently had my polycarbonate roof of my hardwood conservatory replaced by a tiled roof. I was concerned initially how it would look with my existing house tiles and whether it would suit the hardwood conservatory. I should have not worried as it looks amazing.

From my first visit to the Showroom in Thatcham to completion the services of Oakley Green Conservatories was first class. Anyone I came in contact with were professional, polite and a special mention to the fitters and plasterer who were all extremely tidy and respectful of my property.

Replacement Conservatory Roof

Last week we had our old conservatory roof replaced with a new carbon grey roof tile by Rick & Steve from Oakley Green Conservatories. The lads were hardworking and very conscientious and completed the job to a very high standard. We would highly recommend this company.

We couldn’t be happier with our new Orangery from Oakley Green! From start to finish, the entire process was seamless and stress-free. The team were absolutely amazing, incredibly friendly, polite, and a real pleasure to have around.

What really stood out to us was their attention to detail. Every aspect of the build was completed to the highest standard, and nothing was too much trouble. The site was kept immaculately clean and tidy throughout, which made a huge difference.

We were also so impressed with the speed of the build – just 4 weeks from start to finish! It’s rare to see such efficiency without any compromise on quality, and Oakley Green absolutely delivered on both fronts.

We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone thinking of doing something similar. A truly fantastic experience from a company that clearly takes pride in their work.

Internal garage conversion

Oakley Green converted our internal garage into a new room over a period of about three weeks in July 2024. This involved removing the old garage door, walling up the gap, installing a window, laying screed floor over the old concrete, electrical work (installing new light fitting/power sockets), and plastering. Everyone involved was courteous, professional, and helpful. The work was finished in less time than originally estimated, the guys went the extra mile to solve a couple of unexpected issues that cropped up, and disruption/mess was minimal. And, most importantly, the finished room is fantastic and we’re really pleased with it! Would absolutely recommend Oakley Green for anyone planning a similar project.

A true home improvement

From the initial consultation and throughout the design and planning stages we were kept informed and were given a clear plan to remove our old conservatory and replace with a warm roof version.
Unfortunately, there was a delayed start but the expert fitting team worked efficiently and cleanly to leave us with a usable space for Christmas.
We are delighted with the finished result, a room that we can enjoy all year round and adds an extra dimension to our home.

Lovely orangery

From our initial request to a completed project the service we received was excellent. Colin (Operations Manager) was always available for any queries. All trades involved arrived as programmed and delivered a professional job. We are very pleased with the end product. A 10 year guarantee was issued after final payment.

I had a new conservatory done ., from the beginning communication was great .. workman came on the days stated and workmanship was excellent.. did have an issue due to the weather but Paul and the team worked hard to complete the work to the deadline ..

Quality workmanship

We had a conservatory with a old polycarbonate roof which was poor for heat and sound insulation. Visited Oakley Green showroom and we chose a replacement solid (insulated) and glass roof. The installation was carried out as per timetable and all of the team were craftsmen who delivered quality workmanship. We are very pleased with the end result which has completely transformed the conservatory

Any issues, of which we only had one was resolved on the same day.

Exactly to plan and on schedule

Organised and efficient. Delivered on time, exactly as per the original project plan. Corrected a slight issue with party wall overhang with minimal fuss. Really recommend going for the bi-fold doors. Have transformed our old conservatory into a smart ‘orangery’ living area. Recommended.

We decided to use Oakley Green as they were local and had excellent reviews. We needed our old and ugly conservatory roof replaced, as well as the draughty doors and windows. They listened to what we said and changed the original design to suit our needs. We kept our brick walls and flooring, but the rest of the conservatory has been transformed into a beautiful space, which has made the conservatory feel so much bigger, it is much warmer and the roof is a real feature – there is so much more light in our living room now. The staff have been very helpful and kept us well informed throughout the whole process. The installation team were all very professional, polite and extremely clean and tidy.

We have been extremely happy with the service received from the early stages of planning and the advice given on the size of extension and materials to be used right through to the actual build. Tiled Roof Conservatory

Our work was planned and ordered in November 2023 at the showroom in Thatcham with Paul Nolan. Everything was explained and discussed fully; and timed to start on January 8 2024. Not the best time of year to have a glass Conservatory with low brick walls and a tiled floor (both of which were staying), taken down and replaced you would think. It was very cold but thankfully dry! All of the guys who were involved were amazing, polite, hard working, tidy; and a clean up each afternoon before leaving for the day. The planning was great too, whatever was required arrived on time; with no hold-ups, as can so easily happen. Colin or Mike popped in each day to see if all was well, which it always was. No more being cold in winter and boiling hot in summer, it is fantastic. GREAT JOB! – HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! 5 star service all the way.

Excellent Service From Start To Finish

We had been considering replacing our patio with something more substantial for some years but had struggled to find a company that could help us.

Starting with the sales process, Oakley Green has been excellent. We had some ideas about what we wanted which Peter listened to before giving us a range of options that we had not considered. Following on from these discussions Kris quickly delivered a set of drawings/plans so we could quickly see what we would get and decide if it was right for us.

The deal clincher for us was that Oakley Green was able to do all of the work to deliver our new extension. They did all of the building, the electrics and the flooring professionally managed by Mick. All we have had to do is arrange for the new room to be painted and move the furniture in.

We are really pleased with the end result and would recommend Oakley Green to anyone looking for a conservatory/extension.

From start to finish this was a superb extension project carried out with diligence, courtesy and consideration. Oakley Green staff and sub-contractors were all helpful and hard-working and are a credit to the OG regime. Small issues were dealt with promptly and without fuss to leave us with a real quality final product. Thank you especially to Maurice and Kris for getting us to the start of construction with much in the way of helpful input to the design. Then likewise to Colin and Mick for attentively managing the job to completion and obviously to all the various tradespeople for the practical stuff.

Replacement conservatory roof

We had our old, existing polycarbonate conservatory roof replaced with a glass one. From our initial visit to the showroom, through sales & surveying, to installation Oakley Green were very good. An issue regarding electrics and lighting was actioned promptly. Overall very pleased and love how much brighter and quieter our conservatory is.

Oakley Conservatory one storey extension

Oakley Conservatory have just completed a small one storey extension/conservatory at my property. I am delighted with the final result. Some issues on the way which were quickly and satisfactorily resolved. All the teams were really nice and helpful. Big thanks to the builders, installers and the project manager Colin.

I knew exactly what I wanted, there is no off the shelf stuff and all aspects of design planning build, was taken care of.
Very well organised company, and the build team just got on with it all. Any little niggles I had was sorted, and even ones I didn’t spot.
This is my first experience of a big project, and wow I was impressed, the amount of work involved and all done very quickly and really well. Definitely recommend to anyone.

Beyond expectations

I recently had a replacement conservatory roof installed by Oakleygreen Conservatoires. From the initial contact with their salesman through to the completion, it was a dream project. The two installers from Oakleygreen, were considerate, conscientious, hard working and more importantly ‘went the extra mile’. Also they gave me invaluable advice.
The same can be said with their contractors (plastering and electrics).

Oakley Green Conservatories were fabulous from beginning to end!

Oakley Green Conservatories were recommended to us by a friend who had used them before the pandemic, and they did not disappoint! Their service from initial meeting and quotation (their price beat 2 others we had received!) was exemplary. We had an old, leaking, damp conservatory removed and a fabulous garden room built in its place. We were given a schedule of work at the beginning of the process and everything ran precisely to this. Every member of their team who came to work at our home, was polite and friendly, and they were all the tidiest of workers. Everything was checked along the way to make sure we were happy with the process, and the end result is amazing, we could not be happier!

Warm Roof Conservatory

An extremely well managed & efficiently conducted installation constructed during the adverse weather conditions which persisted throughout February & March 2024. The property is tenanted & the elderly tenants were delighted by the consideration shown by the construction teams involved as indeed we were. As the only external access mean’t dismantling & re-securing a section of fencing every day security was a serious issue. The quality of the finished job is of the highest standard & we are delighted with the result. Warm roof conservatory
